@PhilippaNuttall @georgeeaton @NewStatesman Not only are old & new homes poorly insulated, 99% of the insulation we do use is fossil fuel based with a high level of embodied carbon. Yes, we need an insulation plan but it needs to be done with nature-based materials such as wood fibre which can store carbon:
