Today the European Parliament and the Council negotiate the Energy Efficiency Directive. We’ll continue as long as there’s hope.
We are ready to make a deal. But it requires that EU countries move seriously upwards in terms of ambition level of the targets for energy efficiency.

We need to put our money where our mouth is. We all agree on the need for energy efficiency. But are we ready to act? I hope so - to the benefit of the climate, the citizens and our common security!
