The reason why Hamas has popular support in the West Bank and Gaza is because Palestinian children are taught to hate Jews since they first go to school. Hamas are, to young Palestinians, the heroes of resistance.
These schools are funded by the UN through western taxpayer’s donations.
To achieve peace, long term, the education must change and the west should hold back all its funding until the hate is removed from the schools.
Israel supporters have been saying this for years but it’s always fallen on deaf ears. Now we see the result of inaction.
Educate to hate ➡️ war ➡️ death ➡️ more hate.
Education must change!
