RT @BBCFLauraKT: BREAKING: The Tories held their annual summer fair for their donors yesterday and among those in attendance was Lubov Chernukhin who is the wife of Putin's former deputy finance minister. Nothing to see here folks, this is perfectly normal, move along x

RT @CarolineLucas: So there we have it: the “benefits of Brexit” are bigger bonuses for city execs, while everyone else faces a cost of living crisis

It’s almost as if Nigel Farage was a city trader himself once...

RT @RobertLindsay: Has to be the ultimate irony of @grantshapps saying the will only hurt ordinary people when in fact ordinary people have been hurt by the worst government who continuously cause so much hurt to so many

RT @lornadupre: This is @SteveBarclay asking Wakefield voters to back Brexit by voting for the Tory candidate who [checks notes] 'said the Brexit campaign was “built on lies” and that he regretted voting for it'.

Thank you Sarah!
RT @SarahGreenLD: Today I presented the Chalk Streams (Protection) Bill. Globally rare Chalk Streams, including the Misbourne & Chess, are under threat. My Bill would give them an enhanced status to ensure they're protected from pollution, over-abstraction & other forms of environmental damage.

RT @dklineii: One Father's Day, when I was 9, my Dad asked me to hop in the car.

We drove to an elementary school. It was Sunday at 11 am. Inside the gym, cigarette smoke filled the air as three dozen adults milled about.

Confused, he told me to sit.

It’s worth pointing out that if you are on £82k (eg MPs) a 2% pay rise (£1640) will probably cover your increased costs, while if you are on £18k a 2% pay rise (£360) probably won’t. Those on the lowest incomes are facing the toughest times.
RT @RoryStewartUK: Is it possible to sympathise with her point while also asking whether why she believes this is a rise of “well over 20 %” ?
Can you call out fake news from your allies?
Or do…

RT @Sciencenature14: Perhaps the most-terrifying space photograph to date. Astronaut Bruce McCandless II floats completely untethered, away from the safety of the space shuttle, with nothing but his Manned Maneuvering Unit keeping him alive. The first person in history to do so.

RT @AJEnglish: "This resignation should have been a political sensation, triggering a crisis and perhaps the prime minister’s resignation. But the departure has barely registered outside the political and media class."

RT @shaldonangler: I have had the privilege of meeting 3 Prime Ministers, Macmillan, Heath, and Douglas Home, who came to our home when he was Foreign Secretary. However, there are no circumstances in the world that could bring me to vote for Johnson.➡️

RT @YvetteCooperMP: On this Home Secretary’s watch overall crime is up 18%, prosecutions are down 18%.

The first Home Secretary for 25yrs to preside over such a big increase in crime & a big drop in charge rates at same time.

The weakest Government performance on crime for a quarter of a century.
