RT @AuschwitzMuseum: Auschwitz survivor Élie Buzyn passed away at the age of 93.

He was born in Łódź in Poland in 1929. He was deported to #Auschwitz in 1944 from the ghetto established by the Germans. Liberated in Buchenwald. In 1956 he settled in France & became an orthopedic surgeon.
