The 🇪🇺 was right to grant candidate status to 🇺🇦 that chose Western democracy instead of 🇷🇺's tyranny.
A condition of membership is sustainable peace, which can be attained by winning the war & protecting ethnic minorities. The 🇪🇺 should help both objectives.

The autonomy of universities must be respected, as it is the first freedom and basis of our European civilization.

While inflation in Hungary soars at 22.5% (highest in Europe), the government increases teachers' wages (among the lowest) by only 12%, while prisoners' wages by 20%.
Terrible priorities, but the first reassuring sign that Orbán might be preparing for his time in jail. :)
