Meanwhile in UK: we pay through the nose for a disjointed part-privatised system (the only difference being stickers on trains!); we’ve sold off most of our public transport infrastructure to public transport companies in Europe who know the value of state owned transport.

🧵3/ Residents on the estates which were earmarked for demolition by the council were treated appallingly. They totally lost confidence in the council when residents’ wishes to refurbish their estates was dismissed based on false calculations by the council.
