🆕In the first nine months of this year, about 228 240 irregular entries were detected at EU's external borders, up 70% compared with the same period of last year.
It's the highest total recorded for the first three quarters of the year since 2016 ⬇️

Most of the Russians are entering the EU through Estonian and Finnish border crossing points.
As in the previous week, the majority of the Russian travellers hold residence permits or visas to EU Member States or Schengen Associated Countries, while others have dual citizenships

🔹25 600 Russian citizens have entered the EU over the past week, half the number from the week before.
🔹At the same time, 31 500 🇷🇺 citizens left the EU.

Our #StandingCorps officers managed to detect 83 such documents and 19 impostors within the past days.
