Firefighters from 🇵🇹 jumped into action and extinguished a fire in Concepción, Chile 🇨🇱, one of the many still burning land at speed.

Thanks to the coordination of the #EUCivilProtection Mechanism, teams on the ground can tackle wildfires and help contain the emergency. 🔥

18 EU countries have offered millions of items, including shelter equipment, heaters, food, warm clothing, and more.

In the aftermath of the earthquakes that rocked both Syria and Türkiye, the humanitarian needs on the ground continue to increase.

To help those who have lost their homes in the earthquake, our #rescEU reserve hosted by 🇸🇪 and 🇷🇴 is sending 500 temporary housing units, 2,000 tents, and 10,500 beds for 🇹🇷 .

The tents provide rapid relief while the temporary units offer shelter for a longer period.
