The HoMs mission's last visit yesterday was to the DVS office in Katima &amp; highlighted the EU's support through the Livestock Support Programme. It aims to sustainably improve livelihoods in northern communal areas, focusing on disease control, market access &amp; infrastructure.

"Recently, HoMs visited a Katima Mulilo based Early Childhood Development Centre, renovated with EU support. Enrollment surged from 38 (2019) to 73 (2023), enhancing access for 1-5 year-olds. The EU's budget support helped to improve the ECDs facilities and quality of offerings.

For the 3rd &amp; last day of the HoMs mission (6th of December) in the Zambezi, we visited the 'Contributing to Food Security in Namibia via Aquaponics Systems at Unam katima Mulilo. The pilot project was funded by the Embassy of Finland &amp; implemented by the Hans Seidel Foundation.

Yesterday, HoMs from the EU, Germany, France, Ireland, &amp; Spain visited the Zambezi Museum—a result of the EU-funded 'Museum Development for Cultural Rights in Namibia Project. This project demonstrated the important role Namibian museums play in expressing cultural diversity.

Earlier today, we completed a visit to the Zambezi VTC under ProVET II as part of the HoMs Zambezi mission. The project is funded by the German government through GIZ, and implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Training and Innovation, as well as the NTA.

On Dec 5, HoMs of EU, Germany, Ireland, France, and Spain visited the 'Extension of the University of Namibia (UNAM), Katima Mulilo Campus I + II'. Assessing progress and learning about the project supported by KfW, enhancing tertiary education capacities and nature conservation.
