Did you know that in order to transmit DNA to our descendants, our DNA strings get shuffled? This involves breaking and repairing the DNA. The "Broken Genome" project tries to better understand this process.

The lab is located in Belgium at @UCLouvain_be and its research group comes from countries such as 🇧🇪Belgium, 🇫🇷France, 🇪🇸Spain, 🇮🇳India, 🇱🇧Lebanon and 🇨🇳China.

Research from the Claeys Bouuaert Lab could improve our understanding of DNA repair, and could also lead to a better understanding of fertility disorders.
