Earlier today, adopted the report by @vinczelorant taking stock of the latest on European Citizens’ Initiatives .

MEPs regret that the overall number of valid ECIs and their impact remains very low, and propose ways to enhance them, including:

➡clear procedures and explanations on Commission inadmissibility decisions, allowing for amended re-submissions

➡integrating eID for signature collections
➡tackling obstacles like the need for too much supporter data, or the lack of procedural transparency in certain countries
