According to @EU_Eurostat, Hungary's tax burden as a share of GDP fell by 2.1% last year, while only four other EU countries - Croatia, France, Latvia & the Netherlands - saw their #tax burden fall, while the others' stagnated or rose.

While most MSs increased their tax burden, #Hungary was the country that cut taxes the most last year.
According to @EU_Eurostat, HU's tax burden as a share of GDP has improved to 34% in 2021, compared with an EU average of 42%.
IEA warns that 🇪🇺 will struggle to get half of the gas it needs to fill storages next summer. Next year's supply shortfall could be as much as 30 billion cubic meters of gas if Russian #gas pipelines stop flowing & Chinese demand rebounds.

Only in HU, natural gas prices for household consumers marginally fell in the same period (-0.5%).
Expressed in €, average household #gas prices in the 1st half of 2022 were lowest in 🇭🇺 (€2.9 / 100 kWh).
