#EPplenary debate today on #GreenDeal #Industrial Plan. In my written intervention I emphasised: Energy prices are sky-high in Europe, while USA is luring investors with business-friendly conditions. If our big companies relocate overseas, EU #SMEs will have no one to supply for.

Instead, COM should:
- authorise projects in MSs and disperse the respective EU funds ASAP. Unfortunately, only 28% of the recovery money have so far been allocated,
- Free trade & increased competitiveness are the only way to put Europe back on the map.

The EU response is too late & doesn't offer an effective solution.
Competition for subsidies among MSs would distort the internal market, which already favours the big players.
