At #EPplenary we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the #SingleMarket.
I said that by withholding 🇪🇺 funds from HU & PL, the COM is putting these MSs, their companies, regions & students at disadvantage in the SM. I have called on the COM to give green light to the money ASAP.

The #SingleMarket is one of the greatest achievements, but it's still far from functioning perfectly. The benefits are unevenly distributed: some MSs & their companies getting more than others. The level playing field is also violated when the COM withholds EU funds from HU & PL.

COM is putting countries at a disadvantage in the Single Market, and now even youngsters, by #blockingErasmus. The COM must put an end to this unlawful situation as soon as possible.

The money due to #Hungary & #Poland could be used to ensure that catching up MSs and in particular their #SMEs, can finally compete on equal footing in the Single Market.
