Through the Mediterranean Joint Deployment Plan & international pilot projects, we support 🇪🇺 MS, the @EU_Commission & organisations such as @UN_FAO_GFCM to ensure the effective implementation of conservation and control measures in the region.🎣
Today 🇷🇴Romanian authorities concluded a national training session with our support & participation on control & inspection methodologies in the #BlackSea.
Thanks to Croatia for providing an interesting case study on electronic data systems in fisheries.
We meet in Algiers the Ministry of Fisheries & Halieutic Productions and the Ministry of Post, Telecommunications, Technologies & Digital to support the "Strengthening fisheries surveillance" component of the Blue Economy 🇩🇿 programme, in partnership with @expertisefrance.

In the context of the 1st patrol of EFCA chartered aircraft🛩️, we received the Irish Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority on board our vessel Lundy Sentinel while in Cork Harbour. It will enhance #fisheriescontrol activities transmitting live aerial patrol footage to 🇪🇺&MS centers.

Two🆕missions for our weighing EU-funded project⤵️
We went to Germany 🇩🇪 & Estonia🇪🇪 to
observe the application of🐟sample weighing procedures in their ports and discuss its implementation & challenges with 🇪🇺MS authorities to help us develop recommendations.
