Purtroppo le regole europee in materia di politica agricola comune non sono in grado di rispondere alle grandi sfide imposte dal cambiamento climatico e cosi gli Stati membri sono impossibilitati dal prevedere interventi lampo che possano dare un sollievo rapido alle comunita' colpite per via delle limitazioni agli aiuti di stato in questo settore.

R to @ECR_CoR: Abruzzo and the region of La Rioja both have a big wine industry. And because of the heavy rains in late spring in Abruzzo we had a 70 percent reduction in the wine grape harvest with 15,000 Abruzzo farms exposed to large losses.

Unfortunately, the Common Agricultural Policy is not able to respond to the great challenges imposed by climate change

We are calling on the 🇪🇺 to take action to provide concrete help to the regions affected by the severe impact of climate change on agriculture
