Two months ago, Mariupol was a comfortable city, about the size of Manchester or Dublin, with great restaurants and bars. Now it has gone - its people deported or driven out, its buildings flattened. Thus does Putin, who poses as a Russian patriot, treat Russophone populations.

Shocked to hear this. Last week, @amirkingkhan was with a group of Conservative MPs and peers building a playground for Ukrainian refugees in Poland. You don't expect to come back to guns in the UK.
