#OTD 1943, SS units, accompanied by police and auxiliaries, sought to clear the Warsaw Ghetto. They were repulsed by Molotov cocktails and small arms fire. Two boys raised the flags of the Jewish Combat Union and of Poland from the highest building. They flew for five days.
