The Iguazu National Park 🇦🇷 protects the Iguazu Falls and the subtropical jungle surrounding it. The protected area can be seen in red with its dense forest, surrounded by farmed areas. The water flow of the falls can be seen in white.

Data collected by the Sentinel-2 satellites is being used to monitor land use and change, soil sealing, land management, agriculture, forestry, natural disasters and to support humanitarian aid missions🌍
🔜 Pre-launch activities will be carried out in Kourou to prepare Sentinel-2C for launch on the final Vega rocket in September 🚀
