The existing Mallow General Hospital will retain 20 beds until all refurbishment works are completed when there will be capacity to increase the total number of beds.

It will be a great boost to healthcare in Cork.

Delighted to visit the extension to Mallow General Hospital which is currently under construction with my colleagues Cllr Liam Madden & Cllr @Shea7Tony

This will provide 48 single bed rooms for patients as well as capacity at a later date for 40 rehabilitation beds. 🏥
