Protecting journalists from abusive court proceedings is absolutely necessary, but meaningless if it fails to acknowledge what has been done to Julian #Assange, in his 5th year of high security prison, facing extradition for journalism. It doesn't get much more abusive than that.

If we want to tackle tax evasion, we must stand up for those who make protected disclosures. Michael Power, victimised, threatened and dismissed for doing the right thing, is now being ground down with procedural matters. This is not how it is supposed to work. We need to fix it.
