Good to see the ECJ rule unequivocally that internal Schengen border controls are illegal, but still 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇦🇹 and 🇸🇪 have illegal border controls and nothing is done.

Now they want to change the law to suit themselves.

Fearless reporting, like that of #DaphneCaruanaGalizia, is a rarity in an ocean of client journalism. Her murder was an attack on media freedom.

The persecution of #Assange is another. If we want a media that challenges rather than serves power, we must call for his release.

Iranians must be able to push for social change without shocking violence and repression from their authorities.

They should also be free from attempts from the West to co-opt their struggle against their own interests.

Methane is 80 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than CO2.

The #NordStream sabotage released 300,000 metric tonnes of it into our atmosphere - a climate & environmental crime.

It must be independently investigated and there must be consequences for the vandals who did it.

🇮🇪 government parties allowed 3 million 🇺🇲 troops to transit Shannon Airport to the 🇮🇶 & 🇦🇫 wars in the last 21 years. Now their MEPs are angry at 🇧🇾 for permitting 🇷🇺 troops through its territory to 🇺🇦. ALL 3rd parties should respect the law of neutrality and work for peace.

The devastation in #Pakistan is beyond belief. No question about the cause: climate change. 53 degrees, glacial melts, monsoons into October, a 3rd of the country inundated, 33 million affected. All while #GlobalNorth shirks its responsibility for historic emissions. Shameful.

As we see a concerted push in the West to project all responsibility for addressing the climate breakdown onto anyone but us, it is important not to forget where the bulk of the responsibility lies for historic CO2 emissions.
