RT by @CarolineLucas: Raw sewage, chemical dumping, plastics: our rivers are dire. Sadly, these problems apply to beaches too. Usually privatised water companies are the source of the problem. It's why The Green Party was fast in signing up to the campaign:

RT by @CarolineLucas: What a turnout in Patcham for our community meeting with residents!

This local campaign against the Royal Mail Mega Depot is so organised, and so impressive. It's been fantastic to work with them alongside @CarolineLucas

Lots of work to do ✊👎

RT by @CarolineLucas: .@ZackPolanski: "The conservatives are toast.. there's a real clear vision here from the Green Party, for real hope & real change, which is around the climate crisis, defending the NHS.. building council housing, protecting renters. Labour aren't going to do those things"

RT by @CarolineLucas: Applause for @Carla_Denyer setting out that @TheGreenParty is the only party being honest that to protect & restore our NHS will require substantial investment - and we need to be ready to ask those with the broadest shoulders to pay modestly more in tax to fund this.

residents are rightly angry about

's plans to build a "mega depot" & more so because of the discrepancies in supporting docs and assessments. Great to see

RT by @CarolineLucas: Thank you @WriterHannahBT for a powerful call to candidates on . There's no excuse to not mandate clever and cheap swift bricks to make a huge difference. If elected, I'll pick straight up from @CarolineLucas demanding action from Govt.

We've got a serious problem in this country. We've got Tories taking millions from fossil fuel lobby & bankrolling climate denial merchants of Tufton Street. Meanwhile Labour is selecting one as a candidate. It's a

RT by @CarolineLucas: Words are cheap, Prime Minister

💧Your party privatised water in 1989
💩Your government dodged responsibility for 14 years
🇬🇧68% of Conservative voters want public ownership
🧑‍⚖️You could easily use your legal powers to take Thames Water into PERMANENT public ownership *right now*

[2024-06-07 12:19 UTC]

It is right to say that isn’t a party political matter but it is one about personal values and the solemn personal duty of being Prime Minister and it tells us that Rishi Sunak does not have the qualities and judgement required for his office.

We've got to invest what it takes to fix our NHS. The Tories have starved it of funding & run the service into the ground. NHS staff deserve a fair, decent wage and we should all be able to depend on the NHS for proper care. Claps don't cut it. We need real investment.

kick out real assets like

but they've got absolutely no problem reselecting MP Graham Stringer who is literally peddling climate denial from Tufton Street? What has happened to Labour?
