RT by @CarolineLucas: The ICJ is considering the South African application that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza again tomorrow. These are some of the binding provisional measures that the ICJ told Israel it must implement. I'm not going to get ahead of the court, but I think it's pretty clear that Israel has not abided by these measures (para 80 for instance). Israel may ignore any ruling, but the international and legal consequences, including for Israel's allies who are also bound by the Genocide Convention, may be far reaching. We'll see.

Sunak claimed the UK government is doing everything it can to support people in Gaza. How does he dare even make that claim, in the same breath he refuses to suspend arms to Israel?

Glad to secure this debate on biodiversity loss today, at a time when nature in the UK is under assault from every angle & we are not on track to meet our targets. This Government – and the next one – must act fast to address this crisis. 🧵

What a roaring success the privatisation of water has been. One of the richest countries in the world and we can't swim in our water or even drink it without getting sick? This can't go on. What will it take for this Government to act?

Looks like JCB lied and kept trading with Russia after all. How can the Tories possibly think it's ok to accept donations from them? It's blood money pure and simple - and Sunak must do the right thing & give it back.

People in Gaza are caught in a sickening Catch 22: can't leave Gaza unless they enrol their biometrics & can't do that in Gaza. Govt urgently needs to set up a family reunion scheme for Gaza as they did for Ukraine

Delighted to say I've been granted a debate in Parliament on biodiversity loss next Wednesday. I'll be opening up the debate - and needless to say, I've got an awful lot I want to say. Some captured in this article, based on my new book Another England

Asked the PM what he was going to do about the shitshow that is our waters and just got told what a wonderful job they're doing. So I tabled a motion in Parliament for a proper plan: starting with bringing water back into public hands.
