You know it's bad when Conservatives from Rudd to Patel are telling this Govt not to politicise extremism. What we're seeing from Sunak's Govt now is downright dangerous. The issue of extremism is far too serious to be used as an election strategy.

UK is still at bottom of G7 for private investment so Chancellor’s smugness is singularly misplaced. Investment in green economy is good for jobs &amp; economy as well as cutting emissions. So why didn’t Chancellor invest today to crowd in more private investment?
