The escalation of war in #Ukraine is caused by Russia.

Blaming Ukraine for escalation when they are fighting for their families, homes, communities, country is bizarre.

The withdrawal of Russian troops voluntarily or by force is what is needed to de-escalate the conflict.

@Khayden2412 @fiannafailparty @RenewEurope Hi Karl. It’s about €120 million annually - we go to Strasbourg 12 times per year so about €10 million/week. It’s a waste of money & @fiannafailparty MEPs repeatedly vote for having only one seat.

Unfortunately the Treaties stipulate the official seat is in Strasbourg.

It’s #RareDiseaseWeek and I was delighted to meet with amazing 🇮🇪 patient advocates from @eurordis this week in Brussels.

Managing rare diseases requires a pan-EU approach. A #EuropeanHealthUnion will be an important part of supporting patients and their families.
