RT by @Andrew_JacobsEU: 🕯️ 🇬🇧 On the 24th of December, we received a phone call from Johan. Devastatingly, he had only gained access to the call after a 72-hour hunger strike.

Although he appeared to be in good spirits, the toll of fatigue and hunger was evident. It was heart-wrenching for him not to be able to share Christmas with his loved ones. We conveyed greetings from family and friends worldwide.

Johan remains in the same challenging conditions—a small cell shared with three others, with no mattress, lighting 24/7, and minimal contact with the outside world. He relies on funds from the Swedish Embassy to purchase enough food to try to prevent further weight loss.

The ongoing trial adds stress, but he strives to maintain composure, focusing on keeping his mind and body in the best possible condition.

Johan sends his love to all those thinking of him and participating in the campaign to bring him home. He expresses profound gratitude for the support extended to him and to his entire family.

He wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, hopeful that the coming year will bring positive changes.
