Sheffield Street Tree Enquiry report is out, key points so far . Council mis-led the Independent Tree Panel (ITP), the public & later the Courts. Misleading the Courts is a serious matter. This was Destructive to Public Trust & Confidence.

Councils behaviour “serious & sustained failure of strategic leadership”. Responsibility rests with political leadership, in particular the Cabinet Member & Leader. Council had opportunities in 2016 to amend Amey Contract to seek a solution to dispute but failed to take this up.
