During a meeting this morning with representatives from the Malta Branch of the Royal British Legion, they informed me about their plans for the ‘2023 Poppy Appeal’ event that will take place later on this year.

We discussed the significance of this symbolism & agreed that remembrance is not only limited to those fallen in the two World Wars but also applies nowadays to all of those who are sacrificing their lives for peace, freedom and democracy in ongoing military activities and wars.
