During the celebration of the 48th anniversary of Republic Day in Gozo, I spoke, among other things, about the protection of the unique and typical Gozitan environment. We must take care of this island’s charm because if we lose it, much more will be lost. (cont.)

I also made a reference to the ongoing discussion in our country. I reiterated my hope that with the ongoing discussions, a solution which addresses all the points being raised by the different stakeholders in this debate will be found.
