@aitorehm Aitor: true that participation in WWI was disastrous. But Portuguese intervention was not due to Windsor Treaty alliance. It was to defend Portuguese colonies, because Tanganica and Namibia were in German hands. The I Republic was very keen of the imperial colonial past.
