@BEKHetherington @realZacTC @BeattieDoug @Joanne_Bunting @aislingreillysf @SineadMcL4Foyle I certainly had no control over the decision by a defendant to not contest the charges or the stage at which they opted to do so.
It is a hugely frustrating and often stressful experience for victims, witnesses, and prosecutors, but people have a right to change their plea.
