There's no barrier to charging with directing terrorism/membership of a terrorist organisation: the Department of Justice/Minister have no role in that decision. >
@RobertF46213563 @allianceparty It's up to the PSNI to investigate and produce the evidence and for PPS to judge whether the evidentiary threshold has been met for each charge.
The role of the Justice Minister is to ensure the laws exist, not to implement them. In this case, they do.
