@janetsanz @SarahCoupechoux Professor Martin Hübscher described the main trends in the STR sector: more offers in rural areas and increased professionalisation. Besides, since Covid-19 a spike in investment hunger has been noticed, turning even more homes into holiday rentals.

@janetsanz @SarahCoupechoux, from Fondation Abbé Pierre, highlighted the impact of STR on housing affordability beyond driving up rents and house prices. People who have to move further away from their work to find an affordable place to live end up paying a lot for transport. 3/
