on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act. In view of the known risks, there is no alternative to clear European rules. This makes us the first in the world to set comprehensive standards in this area. The risk-based approach allows us to take a differentiated approach and exploit the full potential of AI while ensuring transparency and protection.
It is also clear that the EU has to foster entrepreneurial potential and produce real AI champions. To achieve this, we urgently need to remove barriers in the EU single market and create a true Capital markets Union.
