@DeborahDuffin @DanielaNadj @RishiSunak I hadn't thought of the current system of fees as preventing those non-academic folk from achieving. But possibly it does, because of the pressure for everyone to go to university, run up a debt and waste their time skipping lectures in a subject they don't care about.
