Next steps I: These platforms now have 4 months to comply & pay a supervisory fee to the EU Commission who will monitor and enforce the rules applying to them. The platforms will have to carry out risk assessments and identify measures to take. They'll be subject to audits.

Next steps II: Researchers can request access to online platform data. But this has to wait until Member States are ready & application date (17 February 2024).
BUT: The Com is also looking into porn platforms 👀, which could be added to the list of VLOPs in a 2nd batch
