With the #DSA, they've to assess their risk for society & democracy & take measures. If they don’t: they're fined, or risk their service banned

Next steps II: Researchers can request access to online platform data. But this has to wait until Member States are ready & application date (17 February 2024).
BUT: The Com is also looking into porn platforms 👀, which could be added to the list of VLOPs in a 2nd batch #DSA

Next steps I: These platforms now have 4 months to comply & pay a supervisory fee to the EU Commission who will monitor and enforce the #DSA rules applying to them. The platforms will have to carry out risk assessments and identify measures to take. They'll be subject to audits.
