RT by @abiralsahlani: Two nights ago, my mother was on her way to Canada for the forth anniversary of the downing of flight . After checking her luggage and getting her boarding card at the airport, she was stopped by the IRGC post just before boarding her flight.

Her passport was confiscated and she was informed that she is banned from leaving the country. My mother’s insistence to learn why was futile and she was given a summons to the revolutionary court of Tehran.

This morning, and after several stops, including the passport office, she was sent to a certain location in downtown Tehran and was told: “You and your husband are banned from leaving the country for six months due to evidence available to the Intelligence Ministry.” She overheard a phone conversation between officials including a woman called Razavi, who was heard saying: “His parents are here but don’t tell them the real reason.”

Everyone might recall that two months ago, Ghazizade-Hashemi, the regime minister who was banned from Canada for three years threatened that he will retaliate after returning to Iran. I hereby inform the honourable ministers of Immigration, and Public Safety of Canada @MarcMillerVM @DLeBlancNB that if the cost of expelling all of the Islamic Regime’s operatives is retaliation against Iranian activists’ family members, I am more than willing to pay that price. Just expel them and restore safety to this country by doing so.

My parents are not responsible for my actions and words. They know all too well that threats or other actions against me will never affect my determination to pursue my path that I am on for justice.
