I come from Poland. 30% of Poland is "LGBTI-free zones".
I thought zones free of something were only in the textbooks. But that is not the case.
Someone somewhere decided that LGBTIQ people are not as human as others.

It's important to have many allies, says @MarcAngel_lu.
We have allies in this room, in the LGBTI intergroup. Allyship is essential.
When this resolution declaring the EU an LGBT freedom zone, we had 498 out of 705 MEPs votes for that resolution.
A day where I felt not alone.

We have a very diverse situation in Europe, says @Camila_Garfias.

The social democratic movement wants a good life for everyone. Irrespective of class, gender, age, sexual orientation.

This is today's Europe. A Europe of inequality. Where our citizens still don't have equal rights.
We, as progressives, have this special duty not to tolerate this stuation. We have a moral obligation to globalise human rights. This is our duty.
