In a politically motivated trial the mother of five children was found guilty for "forming a terrorist group".
Volha says her only fault is that she helped people and that she speaks Belarusian.

2/ Volha suffers from several serious illnesses. Letters other than from her family are kept from her.
She may rarely receive calls, no parcels since three months.
She says her stay in prison is permanent stress, and it's getting harder every day.

3/ I call for the immediate release of Volha Zalatar and all political prisoners in Belarus.
I firmly condemn the regime's blatant disregard for democratic principles, the mass arrests of civilians and human rights violations following the protests in 2020.
