There is absolutely no New Year mood in Ukraine. There is a war in Ukraine. As usual, I brought you the latest news. It is #warcoffeedaily, December 30, 2023:

Attacks on civilians & infrastructure
Chernihiv Oblast: russians attacked the settlement of Semenivka in the afternoon. A man was killed, and over 30 houses and other civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Kherson: the russian army struck a residential building in the evening. A man died at the scene of the fire, while the 59-year-old woman was in the building that had been destroyed.
Kharkiv: Also, in the evening, russian forces attacked the city centre of Kharkiv with ballistic missiles. Kharkiv Palace Hotel, residential buildings, three medical facilities, a kindergarten, shops, etc., were damaged. 20 people (the information is updated constantly) were injured, among them a journalist from the UK.

Meanwhile...
Explosions were heard in Belgorod, russia, and wreckage fell in the city centre after the work of russian air defence today.
According to the russians, 10 fires broke out in the city after the explosions; 18 people were reported dead, and more than 100 were injured.

International support
The German KfW Development Bank will provide over €24 million for restoring and improving the resilience of energy infrastructure in regions of Ukraine.
