RT by @StevensHelga: ❗️ The committee of the Turkish Parliament approved Sweden's application to join NATO

It is noted that the protocol on Sweden's membership in NATO was first put on the agenda of the Foreign Affairs Commission on November 16. However, the negotiations were not successful, and the Swedish government was asked for information about the obligations.

Today, the committee met for the second time. Its head Fuat Oktay said that Sweden has taken steps, including to combat the financing of terrorism.

Now the last vote remains with the Turkish Parliament.
