This is a realistic assessment. Russia want to occupy the entire Donetsk region. Unless more help is given they will succeed. Ukraine has fallen off the media radar. I have no doubt that Putin is talking advantage. If this succeeds Ukraine will be forced to negotiate to avoid unacceptable loss of life.
