Let's go, Alejo!
The thoughts I want to express are dedicated to my dear colleague and friend @VidalQuadras who is currently fighting for his life after the terrorist attack in Madrid.

Alej's brave voice for truth and justice is disturbing for many, and this time it almost cost him his life. When I judge like this, we lack brave people in Europe, especially those in politics. There are far too many people who are pretentious and avoid clear words and decisive actions. In this way, we will not preserve our European way of life, if we have not already lost it. Alejo has always been a gentleman in politics, but at the same time determined, courageous and principled. It would be right to follow him and together with him do something for freedom and democracy at home and around the world, even if we soon remain, in the Slovenian Erteveje jargon, a "j...na" minority. But we must persevere, this is our mission.
