RT by @M_AndersonSF: 🇵🇸 Today our Sinn Féin delegation discussed the harrowing atrocities in Gaza during a meeting with Ambassadors and representatives from Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
The Israeli bombardment and massacre of the Palestinian people must end now.
Nearly 30,000 children, women and men have been killed or injured, 1.4 million Palestinians displaced, and countless homes, hospitals and schools reduced to rubble.
A whole population is being denied the most basic of human rights by the Israeli Government, with no proper access to water, food, medicine, and electricity.
These are blatant war crimes being inflicted upon a besieged and defenceless people.
The International Community can no longer shy away from this reality.
International law can no longer be ignored.
There must be unequivocal calls for an immediate ceasefire, and the holding of Israel to account for its actions.
The occupation, illegal settlements and apartheid must end now.
And there must be dialogue to secure a just and lasting peace including a viable State of Palestine.
