🏳️🌈 The bill will:
⭕️ Introduce self-ID from the age of 14
⭕️ Ban conversion therapy
⭕️ Ban intersex surgeries on babies
⭕️ Grant lesbian mothers equal parenting rights

With a surplus of depressing news each day, I find it important to remind myself of victories like this. Gay marriage is recognised in so many countries now; that was inconceivable in my youth. The struggle to recognise the dignity of marginalised people will always be ongoing but things do change. We make progress when we keep trying.
