RT @AuschwitzMuseum: 14 September 1933 | A German Jewish girl, Ruth Betty Goldschmidt, was born in Lich. Her family emigrated to the Netherlands. During the war they lived in Maastricht.

In August 1943 she was murdered in a gas chamber in #Auschwitz.
