The EU has immediately mobilised all possible ways to bring assistance to the affected areas.
This support will need to continue for the foreseeable future.

To support the #earthquake affected people in 🇹🇷 and 🇸🇾, we mobilised and facilitated a massive in-kind relief effort under the #EUCivilProtectionMechanism.
Additionally, we have been drawing on our own stocks of relief items, under the 🇪🇺 Humanitarian Response Capacity.

We have also been supporting our humanitarian partners, who have been active on the ground from day one of this earthquake – and who in #Syria have been working to support people since long before this disaster.
We will further scale up this support to do all that is possible.
